We are rapidly approaching go time for the traditional September Surprise, and somehow we're only on developer beta 6. This year is going to be interesting in terms of the software releases, though I'm still trying to work out what this cadence means. Some depressing news and some foreseeable changes, finally approaching implementation, that could possibly affect a number of you, my dear readers.

404 Media (subscription required) recently tracked a shipment of rare books which was delivered to a location, called VGT3 and part of the larger LAS8/9 complex, in Northeast Las Vegas. That facility, according to 404, scans the books for AI training and destroys them in the process. No word on the presence of Mechanical Hounds.
